The Arivaca loop from Robles Junction to Arivaca and back to Tucson or the other way around is really growing in popularity with bikers, cyclists and sports car drivers. The area around Arivaca is fun to poke around in. We don’t take the dirts roads such as the last three miles of dirt into Arivaca Lake, but there is a lot to see and to envision yourself as a turn of the century Arizona pioneer. The Aribaca Coffee Company is still a neat stop and the coffee is better than any Starbucks. Our Nov 09 trip.

Ruby Road to Arivaca Lake, Nogales is pretty rough although the pot holes were recently filled. This is not a road for small sports car or motorcycles. Take your SUV.
